Many dining options near the harbor, but also a kitchen available for added flexibility. Enjoyable view from window overlooking market, tram, and lively atmosphere of the port.

it was fairly clean and the staff were incredibly nice, beds were comfy. the hotel's location was favourable for everything i needed. close vicinity, just 10 minutes on foot to noailles subway station, was a big plus. everything was simply great.

The location was absolutely perfect and magnificent - an easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go. It was also just next door to the old harbour in Marseille, Vieux Port, and Really close to city center.

Got guest room with Lilliputians Shower and bathroom as expected. It was nice to find a microwave, an electric kettle, and refrigerators. The location was awesome, just next door to the centre of the town, the old harbour in Marseille and so many trams. I was surprised at nearby Minoofi, they had some goodies, drinks.

The staff at Monte-Cristo hotel was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and provided valuable suggestions for exploring the city. The location of the hotel was also great, with easy access to various attractions in Marseille. Despite the narrow entrance and the reception being upstairs, we quickly felt comfortable and found the hotel to be clean and sufficient for our needs. The room, though basic, was comfortable enough for a pleasant stay. We especially enjoyed the view from the window, which overlooked the bustling old port and tramline. The proximity to the harbor also gave us plenty of options for dining out, but having the option to use the kitchen in the hotel was an added bonus for flexibility. our experience at Monte-Cristo was positive, and we would recommend it to others looking for a convenient and welcoming stay in Marseille.

It was in the central location close to the harbour. There were climate control and coffee in the room, really enjoyed that. The staff were helpful and affable and knew their area;))

Despite the shortcomings, the hotel did have some positive aspects. the location was incredibly convenient, with several nearby attractions within easy walking distance. Secondly, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, providing a decent level of comfort. Finally, the staff, particularly the receptionist Ayoub, was friendly and accommodating.

The lack of keys caused me great inconvenience during my stay. On one occasion, I was locked outside of the building, and another time, I was locked inside the building with no way to exit.

Central location, at a moderate distance from Old Port of Marseille. Large and compact room with microwave as well as Lilliputians Shower, and smoke detectors too for guests' safety. An extremely comfy hotel, my first choice in Marseille.

During my Easter stay, I appreciated the accommodating staff and the comfortable beds that allowed me to rest properly. its proximity to public transportation and the main attractions made it easy for me to explore the city.

The uninviting entrance and the room's outdated furnishings left me rather disappointed. The size of the room was quite below my expectations, and the bathroom's lack of privacy proved quite inconvenient.

Great value for money and convenient location in the heart of the city. the room was clean and had a comfortable bed, perfect for a cozy Christmas getaway. the staff was friendly and accommodating, allowing us to leave our belongings before check-in so we could explore without any worries. Plus, the fan provided in the room helped us stay cool during the warmer days.

The lack of air conditioning was a bit inconvenient, especially during the hotter days. the noise from outside could be bothersome at times, making it difficult to keep the windows open for some fresh air.
